The Food and Drug Administration in USA (Food and Drug Administration, FDA) ordered the country not enter milk, dairy products, fruits and vegetables from four prefectures in Japan, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi and Gunma.
For its part, China, Taiwan and South Korea are already carrying out rigorous checks on imports of Japanese food.

The confirmed death toll from the earthquake and tsunami of March 11 amounted to 9408, and over 14,700 people listed as missing.
About half a million Japanese are homeless and some 300,000 remain in schools evacuation or temporary housing.
Japan said it will cost U.S. $ 309,000 million to rebuild the country after the disaster.
Meanwhile, in the Fukushima Daiichi plant's work was interrupted after black smoke was detected coming out of the reactor 3.
